Xmas

With only a few weeks left before Christmas and me leaving Sunday morning for a week to visit my dad, I've been busily working on finishing presents.  Overall things are going smoothly.  The last 3 shirts I needed came in today so I'll hopefully be silkscreening them tomorrow.  I wrapped up a few of the finished shirts this evening to protect them from my furry monster, Charlie.

(As you can see, he is very vicious) His hair seems to end up everywhere- not matter how many times we vacuum and brush him.

I also received good news today- my ceramic pieces were put into the kiln today so tomorrow I can glaze them and have them ready to be put in the kiln once more before I leave- almost all presents are accounted for...just have a few more to figure out/finish...

Roxy Paine at James Cohen Gallery

This past weekend I took a trip around the Chelsea Galleries.  One of my favorite shows by far was Roxy Paine's work at the James Cohen Gallery.  It will be available for view only until Dec 11th, so I would strongly encourage everyone to check it out.

Show

I'd say the show last night was a success.  Amazingly enough, we were able to set up on time and had a nice crowd.  I took some pictures of my work as well as a few of the show.  Enjoy!

New Work!

First and foremost, happy December!  The end of the year is finally almost here!

I've been working hard finishing ambitious projects and my wonderful boyfriend has thankfully assisted in documenting them.  I just finished a silkscreened alphabet book of ancient Egypt and have been working on a few ceramic pieces.
